*apologies for the mass email on such a specific question, i wasn't sure who/how to ask!
Good morning!
We're new to the neighborhood and excited to trick or treat with our 4 year old tonight!
What time does trick or treating start in the neighborhood?
Is there any tradition or particular protocol I should be aware of? Or is it just simple, old fashioned, knock on the door with the light on and get candy?

We also live on Acklen, and Barton Ave is only a couple of streets away and it is always great. No certainly start time, and anything goes! Have fun.

Yes! Sunset is closed from traffic from 25th to Natchez. There is a block party closer to the 25th end. DJ starting around 5pm. Some adult treats (Jell-O shots) and s’mores for the kiddos. Potluck too. It’s a party!

Hey Wendy, my friend! Fairfax Ave is fun too. Mitch and I have candy for the kids, adult treats (wine), games (corn hole - and if an adult makes a shot, they get a shot of bourbon in red Solo cup shot cups), axe throwing (toy set from Costco), glow sticks for the kids, etc.
