Greetings. It's important to be informed so please take time to review what's being presented to the Metropolian Planning Commission for approval as it affects all of us who travel to/from Green Hills. I've included a couple of key proposals from the new plan, i.e., a median down Hillsboro Road and reduced turn lanes in/out of businesses, restaurants, etc.

 

There is an open house at Hillsboro HS to review this project on Monday, October 28, 5-8. Residents are encouraged to drop by and review the recommendations in the Transportation Plan and provide input.

Thursday, November 14 at 4 p.m. at Howard Office Building, 700 2nd Avenue S., 37210 -the ONLY Public HEARING, Metro Planning Commission. Metro Planning Commission will be asked to consider adopting the Green Hills Area Transportation Plan as amendments to the Green Hills-Midtown Community Plan and the Major and Collector Street Plan at this very important meeting.
