Tour Nashville's Recycling Facility on Monday, March 18

To celebrate Global Recycling Day, Metro Waste Services and WM invites Nashvillians to visit Nashville's Recycling Facility to tour the facility and learn more about how recycling happens here in Nashville.

Take a Tour
Tours of the facility will be one (1) hour with five (5) scheduled tour times. Space is limited and will be granted on a first come first served basis. Participants must be 12 years old or older to tour this working facility. 

Safety Guidelines
  • Participants must wear sturdy, closed toed shoes. Preferred shoes include boots, sneakers, or other shoes that cover your entire foot.
  • Metro Waste Services and WM will provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as hard hats and safety vests. Participants must wear this PPE properly and at all times.
Talk to the Experts
Metro Waste Services and WM staff will be on site to discuss the recycling process, what can be recycled in Nashville, and why only some materials can be recycled in our program.
