Announcing the HWEN Alleyway Pollinator Pathway Project!

Receive a FREE packet of high quality, native wildflower seeds,

curated for Middle Tennessee's climate in moist or dry sites.

The Southern Butterfly & Hummingbird Mix includes 22 varieties of seeds for medium to tall wildflowers to sow in your alleyway or a corner of your backyard where height is not an issue and mowing is not needed. Packets

will be distributed for FREE at the Spring Plant Swap this Saturday, April 26,

The HWEN ARBORETUM launches this spring!

If you've walked around the campuses of Eakin, Harris-Hillman,

Martin Professional Development Center, or Fannie Mae Dees "

Dragon" Park, you may have noticed special labels on certain trees.

They're part of the new HWEN Arboretum, two years in planning.

Certified as a Level Two Arboretum by the Tennessee Urban

Forestry Council, it features 60+ species of trees, labeled with

common and botanic names, plus a QR code to access information and a map. Watch for the official HWEN Arboretum launch date and make plans to take a self-guided tour.
