Dear Neighbors,
Mark your calendars now for the 4th Annual Hillsboro-West End Neighborhood Garden Tour!
Sunday, May 11, 2025 (Mother's Day), from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, the Hillsboro-West End Neighborhood Association will hold its fourth annual Garden Tour, "Gardens, Then and Now."
This year's event will feature nine charming residential gardens on a strollable route through a National Register of Historic Places neighborhood, the new Hillsboro-West End Arboretum, historic 1854 Glen Oak, garden experts, and special surprises along the way. For the young and young at heart, historic MNFD Station No. 16's new fire engine is expected to make an appearance. And, new for 2025, Gray Line of Tennessee will be providing hop on/hop off trolley service around the neighborhood.
Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased online at
hwen.org or at the ticket tent on the day of the Tour. Children ages 12 and under are admitted for free. Please check in at the ticket tent on the corner of Blair Boulevard and 25th Avenue South to receive your tour wristband and guidebook.
