HWEN Neighbors, You Are Invited!

Join us for a Hillsboro West End Neighborhood Block Party on Saturday, July 18, from 5:00–10:00 PM!

We're closing Acklen Avenue between the houses of 2800–2812 (with no through traffic) and turning it into one long neighborhood gathering with tables stretching down the street, great food, games, raffles, and plenty of opportunities to meet your neighbors!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Free Hamburgers & Hot Dogs
• Raffle Prizes from Local Restaurants and Businesses
• A Movie to close out the night!
• While bringing something is completely optional...
• If you live on an EVEN House Number, bring a dessert to share!
• If you live on an ODD House Number, bring a side to share

WANT TO HELP OUT? 

• Whether you can help for an hour or throughout the event, we'd love to have you involved! We're looking for volunteers to help with:
• Grilling Hamburgers and Hot Dogs
• Setting up and Decorating Tables and Chairs (Tables and Chairs generously donated by Vanderbilt University)
• Creating Floral Arrangements (Flowers generously donated by Import Flowers)
• Local Businesses & Restaurants
• If you own or represent a local business or restaurant, we'd love to feature you!
• We're creating a community pamphlet highlighting local businesses, and we're also looking for raffle prize donations, gift cards, merchandise, or other swag. It's a fun way to support the neighborhood while introducing your business to your neighbors!
