Last chance to receive free trees as part of Root Nashville initiative, a citywide effort to plant 500,00 trees in Davidson County by 2050.
Each household may request up to 3 free trees (about 6 feet tall in 15-gallon containers), delivered directly to your home. If you are unable to dig the holes yourself, Root Nashville can help. You will just need to indicate this when you sign up.

Southern Magnolia – Evergreen with fragrant white blooms
Shumard Oak – Stately canopy tree with red fall foliage
Blackgum – Stunning red/orange fall leaves, wildlife-friendly
‘Canada Red’ Chokecherry – Compact, purple-leaf ornamental
Bald Cypress – Fast-growing, feathery foliage, minimal needle drop
American Yellowwood – Small flowering tree with yellow fall color
Persimmon – Brilliant fall foliage with edible fruit
