Order Free Trees from Root Nashville!

HWEN loves trees, and this is your opportunity to add free trees to your yard and enhance the neighborhood tree canopy. Here's the scoop from our neighborhood tree captain, Lisa Wyatt:
 
• Residents of Davidson County can order 1-3 trees per household, free of charge, at

• Supplies of tree species are limited and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Deadline to order is August 31, 2025. 

• All trees are native species, about 6 feet tall, and in 15-gallon containers.

• Orders will be confirmed between July and September, for delivery between October and March.
• Root Nashville delivers, you plant. Call 8-1-1 before you dig, at least 72 hours before tree delivery. The service will mark underground utilities at no cost, after which you can safely dig your hole.
