Construction Update:

Road Closure along 18th Avenue South extended to complete Utility Upgrades to allow for the installation of upgraded sewer and underground utilities:

  • 18th Avenue South will be fully closed between the Roberts Academy construction site and the Seigenthaler Center until October 2025.
  • 18th Avenue will be open from Thursday, August 14 to Wednesday, August 20 for Student Move-In.
  • Questions? If you have any questions about campus construction, contact Vanderbilt Planning, Design and Construction at constr...@vanderbilt.edu.

Students Living Off Campus:

  • Four new residential colleges are under construction through fall 2028. In the meantime, there will be approximately 1,700 students utilizing off-campus housing. These students have received guidance and expectations on the best practices for being respectful neighbors. Please see the attached flyer for additional information, including how to report an incident.  Do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We appreciate your patience and look forward to a successful academic year ahead.
