Dear Neighbors,

Please read below about free convenience center use this week, paused trash and recycling pickup, and how to sign up for reminders from Nashville Waste Services.

Also, here is a link to view current the NES power outages map. You may quickly report a power outage by texting "OUT" to 637797 (NESPWR) from your mobile device, or call 615-234-000. Have your electric meter number handy or call from the phone number associated with your account for the system to recognize your outage.

Stay warm--

Wednesday trash & recycling update

No Trash and Recycling Pickup on Wednesday

No residential curbside collection for Wednesday, January 28, as neighborhood routes are still obstructed by snow, ice, and debris from fallen trees. In addition to ensuring the safety of our teams, services are paused to ensure emergency crews can continue their cleanup efforts safely and efficiently.

Convenience Centers

To provide some relief for residents, all Metro Nashville Convenience Centers will be free of charge for the remainder of the week. Residents are encouraged to bring household trash, recycling, and all other regularly accepted items to any of the four centers at no cost.

For a comprehensive list of accepted materials and drop-off guidelines, visit the Convenience Center website.

Centers will operate on modified operating hours for the remainder of the week to ensure the safety of our residents, staff, and facilities:

  • Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Through Saturday)
  • Locations:
    • East Convenience Center: 943 Richard G. Adams Drive
    • Anderson Lane Convenient Center: 939A Anderson Ln, Madison
    • Omohundro Convenience Center: 1019 Omohundro Pl, Nashville
    • Ezell Pike Convenience Center: 3254 Ezell Pk, Nashville
