Dear Neighbors,

We have a few details to share as we prepare for the Vanderbilt vs Missouri football game on Saturday, October 25. As you may have seen, ESPN’s College GameDay will broadcast live from Wyatt Lawn on the Peabody campus that morning, which will bring additional activity to the area.

 

Kickoff for the game is at 2:30 p.m.

 

Road Closures

The following roads will close beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, and are expected to reopen by 4:30 p.m.:

  • Natchez Trace between Jess Neely & Children’s Way (Vandyville area)
  • Natchez Trace between Kensington & Children’s Way
  • All of Jess Neely between 25th Ave & Natchez Trace
  • Vanderbilt Place between 28th Ave S & 29th Ave S (East bound lane only)

 

Noise Reminders
Please be aware of the following game-day noise elements:

  • Fireworks are shot off pregame, during the National Anthem and each time Vanderbilt scores.
  • A horn is sounded pregame (one or two times), on third downs, and when Vanderbilt scores.

 


Additional Impacts

  • The bike lane along Vanderbilt Place (east, from 25th Ave S to the Sarratt Circle) will be closed beginning at 7:30 a.m.
  • One lane on 25th Avenue between Vanderbilt Place and Kensington will also be closed.

 


ESPN College GameDay Schedule

Saturday, Oct. 25

 

  • 4:15 a.m. – Queueing opens, Wyatt Lawn
  • 5:30 a.m. – Music begins, Wyatt Lawn
  • 6:30 a.m.–12 p.m. – Gray Line shuttle service (West Garage and 25th Ave. Garage to Peabody Commons Lawn,  circuitous route)
  • 8–11 a.m. – ESPN College GameDay live broadcast, Wyatt Lawn
  • 11:50 a.m. – Star Walk on Natchez Trace
  • 12:30 p.m. – FirstBank Stadium gates open
