Calling all artists and artisans!
Queen City Arts, an advocacy initiative of the Dutchess County Arts
Council, is accepting vendor applications for the first Queen City
Arts Festival, to be held this May in Poughkeepsie's Arts District. We
are seeking artists, arts groups, and makers of handmade goods and
foods to occupy a booth on historic Main Street during festival hours
on Saturday, May 18th, and to engage with a growing community of
residents, enthusiasts, and customers.
Featuring a growing number of local artists, musicians, food makers
and Poughkeepsie's renowned fine dining restaurants, this series of
three planned events, May 18, July 20, and September 21 will entice
visitors and residents to experience the city's thriving food/art/
music scene and to buy directly from local artists and artisans.
We have been working hard to craft an exciting experience that will
showcase this unique arts community, but one thing is still missing:
you! Don't miss out on this opportunity to share your goods with an
enthusiastic city. Help us celebrate the renewing power of art and
community by securing a space today! Vendors who sign up before April
30th will do so at a reduced rate.
