2nd Annual "Kerhonkson Day" Celebration

Good Morning!
 
I am writing to let you know that the 2nd Annual "Kerhonkson Day" Celebration will be held on Saturday, August 25 from 10am-4pm on Main Street in Kerhonkson.  This event will feature Food and Craft vendors all day, an entertainment stage headlined by the amazing local band "Breakaway", the Annual Kerhonkson Day 5K run and walk and our very popular 2nd Annual Great Rondout "Rubber Ducky" Race (ducks are now for sale!!) that ends at the Kerhonkson Bridge and has some amazing CASH PRIZES!  The day is shaping up to be even bigger and better than last year's outstanding debut. 
 
The day is sponsored and run by the Friends of Historic Kerhonkson, a not for profit organization dedicated to the improvement of the Kerhonkson area.  We have been up and running for almost two years now and have made significant progress.  We would be honored to have you join us on August 25.
 
Vendors spaces are $25 per for a 10'x10' spot and $15 for not for profit organizations.

Here is a quick order of events for the day:
 
7:00AM- Main Street opens for vendor set-up
8:30AM- Registration for the Kerhonkson Day 5K begins
9:00AM-  Entertainment Stage opens with DJ Vinnie V (will be playing all day in between acts)
9:30AM- Kerhonkson Day 5K begins on Main Street and through the streets and Rail Trail
10:00AM- Vendors open for business
10:45PM- 5K race awards presentation at the Entertainment Stage
2:00PM-  The 2nd Annual Great Rondout "Rubber Ducky" Race begins at the bridge!
2:00PM-  "Breakaway" performs
4:00PM-  Breakdown
