Cold Spring Community Day Event

This year's date is Thursday, July 4th (a rain date has not yet been
set).

There will be a limit of 10 vendor spaces available on a 1st come 1st
served basis. If you're interested in participating in this event
please don't wait until the last minute. Space is limited. The vendors
who attended last years were very happy.

Set-up will be in the small grass park area to the left of the gazebo
at the foot of Main St. next to the dock in Cold Spring. Vendors will
be required to unload their vehicles in the park and then move them to
a designated parking area close by.

The cost for a 10' x 10' space is $75 and a Certificate of Insurance
(C of I) is required for $1 million naming the Village of Cold Spring
as additional insured. Your homeowners or renters insurance company
should supply this C of I to you at no cost. If you need more
information about how to get a C of I call me and I'll help you.
Without a C of I you will not be permitted to participate. This is a
Village rule, not mine.

This event is a local, family oriented community day celebration for
residents and visitors to the Village. There will be food, kids rides
and entertainment and of course a professional fireworks display at
9pm.

In my opinion, items offered for sale should be geared to this kind of
event. Kettle Corn, Costume/handmade Jewelry, Toys & Kids items, Face
painting, Kids tatooing, Jams & Jellies, etc. would do well. Antiques
and collectibles I would think would not do so well but I'll leave
that decision to you. Some 4,000 people enjoyed the festivities last
year.

Vehicle unloading and set-up will be in the 12pm and 1:30pm range. A
parade down Main St., as in previous years is not planned (this may
change). Selling hours will be approximately 2pm - 8pm and tear down
will be at 8pm. These times are approximate for now. The Village will
let me know the exact schedule shortly.

Remember, it will be limited to 10 vendors on a 1st come 1st served
