Since the year 2000 I have been the the webmaster for www.hvacindia.com and its Google group.
We were at that time considered as "Young Turks" by the older generation, (which was magazine-oriented), for starting a website. That era is now over and the reins give way to a new generation of "Young Turks" today, and with a new domain name, ishrae.in which will be live within a week or so.
I had registered "hvacindia" as a domain name in 1999 and finally donated it to ISHRAE Mumbai Chapter in 2000.
That got me a certificate of appreciation and a gold Cross pen (3 micron coating, so scraping the thing is not really worthwhile :).
I shall now concentrate to move HLCP "Hourly Load Calculation Program", which is India's first Hourly load and Design Day load calculation software using the EnergyPlus engine and BIS weather data.

An half-day workshop session on HLCP is being organised at I.I.T. Madras most probably on the 20th of August 2008, for which members of ISHRAE Chennai Chapter are also likely to be invited.
HLCP, which is currently in version 1.03-10 shall now be taken to three new versions, i.e., 1.04,1.05 and 1.1. More on that later.
Basically it's a traumatic time for me having nutured www.hvacindia.com for so long, (though the url will still work), but equally exciting to take HLCP to greater heights.
I thank you all for the encouragement and support which I received during my tenure.
