ISHRAE Chennai Chapter is pleased to conduct an application oriented and interactive refresher course on :
" BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR HVAC & ALLIED SERVICES "
Faculty : Mr.J.Ethiraj (BMS Consultant )
Ethiraj is a Graduate Engineer in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Mysore University. He has worked for more than 23 years in the Design, Estimation, Sales & Installation of Integrated Building Management Systems for a wide variety of applications . He has worked with L&T, Blue Star & Johnson Controls in India & with a distributor of Schneider Electric & Satchwell (Invensys) in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. Presently he is a Director in M/s. SS Building Services Consultants (P) Ltd, Chennai.
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE :
The objective of the refresher course is to create awareness and foster a greater understanding on BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND COMMUNICATION among HVAC Engineers, Contractors, Facility Managers and Building Operators.
The participants will be exposed to the various terminology used, Basics of Control & Automation, BMS for HVAC & Allied Services, Controls needed from HVACR & Allied Services perspective , Controls & Logics , I / O Basics, Input / Output devices & sensors, Input / Output - Digital & Analog, Quantity Estimation, Retrofits for existing installation and Energy saving.
WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS COURSE :
Engineers from the HVAC and Allied services industry, Energy Engineers, Building Owners, Contractors, Builders and Developers, Facility Managers and Project Managers.
Date & Time : 26.7.2008 ( Saturday ) – 9.30 AM to 5.00 PM. Registration starts at 9.00 am.

Participation Fees : Rs.1,200/- per delegate for ISHRAE members and Rs.1,500/- per delegate for non-members. Cheques / Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of ISHRAE Chennai Chapter, payable at Chennai. The fee includes the course material, lunch and tea.
