ISHRAE Chennai Chapter is pleased to conduct an application oriented and interactive refresher course on :
AIR FILTERS IN HVAC & CLEAN ROOM APPLICATIONS
Faculty : Mr.R.Shankar
Shankar completed his Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from C. N. Polytechnic, Chennai ( 1988 ). Thereafter he joined Ashok Leyland Ltd. In 1995 he founded M/s.Impec Filters to manufacture Air filters and served as its Managing Partner. In 2002 he founded M/s. Pure Air Techniques to manufacture Air filters for HVAC and clean room applications as its proprietor. Some of his other ventures are M/s. Filcons India, an Air filtration cum Clean room consultancy, testing and validation services company and M/s. Pristine Business Services, a management consultancy firm. He is also a Management Trustee at SEVALAYA, a not for profit charitable organization.
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE :
The objective of the refresher course is to create awareness and foster a greater understanding on the growing importance of air filteration in HVAC applications.
The topics to be covered include introduction to air filtration, Basic air filtration theory, Classification & types of air filters, Performance specifications, Air filter selection, Cleanroom – Testing and Standards,
Clean room – Classification standards and Special air filter applications.
WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS COURSE :
Engineers from the HVAC and Allied services industry, Building Owners, Contractors, Builders and Developers, Facility Managers and Project Managers.
Date & Time : 2.8.2008 ( Saturday ) – 9.30 AM to 5.00 PM. Registration starts at 9.00 am.

MSB is about 300 m from Gajendra circle on the road leading to Velachery Gate. MESH is in the first Floor of MSB in the wing facing the road.
Pick up from IIT entry gate ( 8.45 am to 9.30 am) and drop at exit gate is also being arranged.
Participation Fees : Rs.1,200/- per delegate for ISHRAE members and Rs.1,500/- per delegate for non-members. Cheques / Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of ISHRAE Chennai Chapter, payable at Chennai. The fee includes the course material, lunch and tea.

The number of participants is limited to ensure adequate interaction. Advance registration alone will be accepted . Kindly avoid spot registration . The attached registration / nomination form along with the Cheque/ DD towards participation fee should reach the office of ISHRAE before 30/07/2008.
