'88888 LIGHTS OUT' is a campaign initiated by Exnora International at Chennai. On 8th August 2008, at 8 pm all lights will be switched of for 8 minutes. This is to bring awareness to the public about the dangers of global warming. You can also extended support by registering at http://www.petitiononline.com/exnora08/petition.html.

We request all ISHRAE members to take active participation in this campaign. Please make it a point to spread awareness about this campaign by forwarding this mail to your contacts.
We would appreciate informing all in your neighbourhood and society, including school children and college students. Apart from supporting EXNORA INTERNATIONAL, we should also ensure that this IMPORTANT AWARENESS CAMPAIGN is practiced by all.
