NY beverage summit + Schumer press conference

hi all,
Two time sensitive items:
1. I have been asked to speak on a panel at the Thursday beverage summit at CIA. Representatives from the Governors office, the SLA, and Empire State Development will be there and I am supposed to give them a comment or question relevant to cider.
Please send any suggestions to me immediately. Thank you.
I will mention that the steering committee will convene at Glynwood this winter to formalize a NY Cider Association, and to discuss plans and fundraising for future Cider Weeks. I will thank them for the Farm Cidery Bill and Taste NY sponsorship of Cider Week. I will note growth in cider and positive impact for apple growing.
Any specific issues I can mention?

2. Senator Schumer is holding a press conference at Golden Harvest Orchard in Valatie, NY on Friday at 11:00am, about his Cider Act.
Please come. I will send press release to you tomorrow.
