Đài Hội Liên Đoàn Nguồn Sống 2024 has officially ended. As we end our sinh hoạt calendar, we ended with an event entirely dedicated to the love of the Eucharist.  I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who played a major role to making this annual event a success each year.  Thanks be to God that we have exceeded last year's number of participants and it's all due to the extraordinary love for VEYM.

 

We had to endure many elements such as the intense 95–100-degree heat, freeway closures due to fire, rattlesnakes entering campsite, etc... but we did it! Without your continuous leadership, sacrifice, and love for VEYM, our Đại Hội would not have been as fruitful or successful as it was.  I would like to express my gratitude to the following:

 

Cha Tổng Tuyên Uý Giuse Ngô Đình Thông, CSsR: Thank you Cha Thông for extending your stay with us as you tour all the Liên Đoàns in southern California. We know that you are a very busy person and the fact that you stayed with us the entire weekend just proves that you were meant to be our Cha Tổng.  Your love for all liên đoàn is amazing. Thank you.

 

Cha Cựu Tuyên Uý LDNS, Gioan Baotixita Nguyễn Văn Phương:  This is not a goodbye but rather a start of a beautiful journey that you have set for yourself and LDNS. We are grateful for everything you have done for us. Your gentle smile along with a huge heart for LDNS as CTU will forever be remembered.  Thank you for your support, guidance and the ability to lead us to Jesus throughout the years.

 

Cha Tân Tuyên Uý LDNS, Cha Phaolô Trần Xuân Hoà: As you step into your new role as CTU for our LDNS, we are deeply thankful that God has brought you to us.  We can't wait to see what you have in store for us. 

 

Cha Phó Tổng Tuyên Uý Gioan Kim Khẩu Phạm Hoàng Trung, SJ: Thank you Cha Trung for visiting us and celebrating mass with us. Your presence along with Cha Thông definitely shows us that Phong Trào truly cares for us.  As we continue to grow and move forward, we know we can always count on you for support!

 

Cha Kiệt (DMLV), Cha Tuấn (KV), Cha Toàn (SP), Cha Bảo (HD): Thank you for visiting us at our đại hội. Your presence meant a lot to all the đoàn that you are part of. They instantly cheered up knowing that you were there!  We also would like to thank all the Cha Tuyên Uý that were not present but were praying for us at home. We are thankful for all your support for a ministry that is dedicated to bringing our youth closer to Jesus Christ.

1. TT. Thuỷ (Hào) Trần: Thank you for gathering all the trợ tá and phụ huynh for our first ever session at DHNS. Your endless pursuit to make sure everyone was invited shows us that you truly want this particular group to grow within the ministry. This was a very successful event for everyone who attended.
   
   
10. Sound Support:
1. Chú Việt Nguyễn: I can never say this enough. Thank you so much for helping us with the sound system. I know you did not have to endure the heat, transport your own equipment, or run it for our event, but you did. Thank you for volunteering and being our go-to person for our sound system. 

Most importantly, we would like to thank all the Ấu Nhi, Thiếu Nhi, Nghia Sĩ, and Hiệp Sĩ members in LDNS! You are the MAIN reason why this event was a success. It is because of you that we come back every day, every week, and every year!  Because of you, there is a ministry called Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể. 

In addition to all the đoàn sinh, I would like to thank all the Trợ Tá and Phụ Huynh who journeyed with us this weekend with their đoàn. You have sacrificed your weekend to make sure that everyone is physically nourished in your đoàn. We know it meant a lot to them. We are in deep gratitude for all your support. This event is also made possible by your generosity and unconditional love for your đoàn. Thank you.

During the Đại Hội, there were some circumstances and obstacles that our Ban Tổ Chức could not avoid. We are very grateful for everyone’s flexibility and understanding as we navigate through this event. We sincerely apologize for any mistakes and shortcomings that may have occurred.  All we can do is ask for forgiveness as we will try our best for the next đại hội in 2025.
