CAN - Cycle Action Network

Derek and I recently attended the CAN Do in Cambridge. It was great to listen to other councils talk about their experiences with providing better cycling infrastructure, to listen to the entertaining speakers and to meet up with other local advocates from around the country. We even got to cycle on the Velodrome! CAN Do is the annual get together of all the groups through the country that are connected to the National body - Cycle Action Network. 

Thought it was a good time to remind folk that HCN (Hutt Cycle Network) is a local group of CAN. CAN is the body that advocates nationally on behalf of all cyclists. So if you aren't already a member of CAN it may be a good time to consider joining to enable the National Network to work more effectively.
