Tēnā koutou,

 

Port Road will be closed at the intersection with Marine Drive / Seaview Road from 9am Wednesday 12^th November (see attached image).

This is to enable the fuel pipeline to be installed under the road at this location.

The road closure will remain in place until 19 December at the latest.

 

Please advise your staff, customers, and drivers of this imminent road closure.

Anyone driving south on Seaview Road who misses the turn off at Barnes Street or Gracefield Road will have to go past Point Howard before they can turn around.

For larger vehicles such as a truck and trailer, this may require drivers to go all the way to Eastbourne before a suitable area is available to turn around.

 

Our contractor will have electronic signage boards and traffic detour information in place to warn drivers.

 

We apologise for any inconvenience this road closure causes and aim to complete this work as quickly as possible.
