Subject: Seaview industrial area traffic management changes
Good afternoon
While the upcoming traffic management changes for the fuel pipeline project were outlined in the September Update Newsletter, I am repeating them here to ensure everyone knows what to expect.
· The stop / go traffic control outside the Hutt City fuel storage terminal will be removed by Monday 8th September once the pipeline is installed across Port Road.
· The one-way system will be extended from the Seaview Marina section of Port Road through to Barnes Street from next Monday. This is shown on the map below – the one-way sections are in red. The one-way system is necessary to enable the pipeline to be installed south of Barnes Street to Toop Street, while retaining car parking on one side of the road and leaving space for deliveries and longer vehicles to get in and out of their premises.
· Once the trench has been re-asphalted and road markings reinstated along Port Road between the intersection of Marine Drive and Seaview Marina’s Gate No 2, we will look to reopen this section of Port Road to normal two-way traffic. We expect to be able to do this from Monday 22nd September and will let you know if that changes.

Please advise your staff, suppliers, and customers about these changes. Your cooperation is appreciated. If you have any queries please get in touch.
Regards
Suzanne
