Good Afternoon all,

Hope everyone is gearing up for finals and ready for the last week of
class. Since it is the last week, we will be having a dinner at
Coach's home on Wednesday the same time as class. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE
EVERYONE TO COME. While the dinner is a last time for us to all see
each other before the 3L's graduate, the business end of the meeting
is to determine next years E-BOARD!

This year we are doing things a bit differntly than last year, as we
have only 5 members who will be returning 2Ls and eligible to run for
a position. I am going to be taking statements of interest from all
the 2L's who want to run for a position, I will make up a ballot and
email it to all the current members of the team before Wednesday. SO
when you show up on Wednesday night for the dinner, you will have
already filled out your ballots. After colleting everyone's ballot I
wil tally up the scores and we will know who next year's E-Board is.

For the 2Ls who are interested in running :

Since the 2L's who wish to run for a position will not be able to
adress the voting members, I will post your statement of interest on
the ballot itself. SO if you want to make campaign promises or explain
what you would do if elected, put it on your statement of interest so
it can be included for everyone to read. DO NOT WRITE MORE THAN ONE
SHORT PARAGRAPH. Submit it to me by Tuesday at Midnight.

You MAY run for more than one position.

The positions. descriptions are as follows:
CAPTAIN--primarily responsible for the team, specifically focuses on
the team members and competition teams. This person ensures team
schedules are made and followed. This person should be capable of
fostering collaboration and good team spirit. The Captain is
supported by the President and Vice President.

PRESIDENT--is primarily responsible for dealing with the
administration. This includes scheduling rooms, but mostly means this
person maintains contact with the deans and other campus
organizations. This position allows the Captain to focus on the team
internally because the President deals with IMCT within the law
school.

VICE PRESIDENT--In addition to supporting other positions, this person
would be primarily responsible for planning any IMCT event,i.e. IMCT
hosting an international law lunch program.

BUSINESS MANAGER--does the budget, handles expenditures and
reimbursements. This person must be timely, organized, and detail-
oriented. This position is very important as this person projects our
spending and coordinates with the administration.
