Update on GTB

Hi Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I just wanted to update you on some
important dates for the GTB. This is the busiest week of the GTB.
We'll need everyone's help with grading submissions and mooting the
competitors this weekend in order to pull this go off without any
problems. It should be fairly manageable with everyone doing their
part.

Friday, February 11: Memorials due to huslim...@gmail.com by 11:59
p.m.
*Saturday, February 12: Memorials divided and distributed amongst the
team for grading.
**Sunday, February 13: Preliminary Rounds of Mooting from 10 a.m.-5
p.m.
Tuesday, February 15: Deadline for team to return their graded briefs
is Noon.
Wednesday, February 16: Competitors for the GTB Final Round are
notified
Thursday, February 17: GTB Competition at 12:15 p.m. in the Moot Court
Room

*I am not sure how many people will end up submitting briefs, but
we're looking at maybe 4-6 briefs to grade per person. This may sound
like a lot if you have a busy weekend (which we all probably do), but
keep in mind what Coach always says about the outline structure of the
brief telling you a lot about the strength of the brief. After a
preliminary scan of your assigned briefs, you should be able to tell
which are actually competitive and which do not really hold a candle
to the others. Then you can eliminate the weaker briefs pretty
quickly and take a closer look at the stronger briefs. You'll also
have an easy-to-use ranking sheet.

**We'll schedule the competitors to moot in 8 or 10 min. increments
depending on how many there are. We'll split the day into shifts, so
you won't be asked to be here for the whole day.
