Hush 1.3
iMac Intel Core Duo with  Snow Leopard 10.6.8
Chrome Version 32.0.1700.77
Android Developer Tools / Eclipse build v22.3..0-887826

Hush quits recognizing commercials and muting sound after I work in Eclipse. Even though I quit everything and restart Chrome and Hush, the only thing that brings Hush back to full functionality is restarting the Mac.

Probably Eclipse trashing something in memory? I've only got 3GB usable RAM on this Mac and Eclipse stretches the system pretty thin. Everything else comes back after I quit Eclipse though.  Hush is the only application that seems to be affected until a reboot.

Just curios - it's a nuisance but I love Hush and I can live with it. If there's any more information I can provide to help debug let me know.

Thanks,

G

Thanks for reporting this. I'm not sure I have time these days to work on Hush, but if anyone wants to submit a patch and link new build, please feel welcome to do so.

I think Eclipse may be taking the port that Hush uses (port 8123)

If you run this command

lsof -Pnl +M -i4

while Eclipse is running, do you see Eclipse or another process taking a port 8123 in the right column?
