Hi folks,

I found this and thought I would pass it on. I was of the opinion that the string traveled in a parabolic wave. It looks like the plucked versus bowed string is much different shape.

Very cool and explains a lot why some of my violin students have such a hard time getting tone out of their instruments. Thanks for posting this.
