Greetings,
I was reviewing a HG plan set which has 12 sympathetic strings (not one of ours). This instrument has 4 chanters in c, g, d', and g'.
It recommends tuning the sympathetics to:
e ------ 131 hz G ---------- 98 hz
g ------ 196 d ---------- 147
b flat - 233 g ---------- 196
c' ------ 262 a ---------- 220
d' -------294 d' --------- 294
e flat --156 b' --------- 466
Does this seem good to you who have been into this longer than I?
How about a Tenor instrument with 8 sympathetics with the same chanter tuning?
Thanks
Mel
