Hey, folks,
I've been dealing with some issues concerning my C natural when I play on my higher D chanter... It makes a really unpleasant sound, but only if I play a long note.
I know it could a number of things. I thought that maybe the string was too close to the wheel - or maybe not close enough?
I'm attaching a really lousy recording to this message. Please turn up your soundboxes in order to listen to it and give me your opinion.
Something else concerning the higher chanter... Do your string usually wear out easily? Or do you tend to cover with cotton ll the area in touch with the wheel?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Rique,
