Project Pat Memorial Hat Tournament (Thanksgiving/Black Friday Tourny)

Hey all, 

Hope everyone's fall is going well. I wanted to just let everyone know thatwe will again be hosting the PPMHT this year on Friday November 29th. That is the day after Thanksgiving aka Black Friday. This year we will be hosting the tournament at Huntington High School (field). Games will start at 9:30am with 4 pool play games, 50mins each then the teams will be reseeded for a small championship bracket (1v4, 2v3, consolation 5v6). Everyone is guaranteed 5 games with the finals participants playing 6 games. The cost of the tournament is $15/person if you register ahead of time, $20 day of. This tournament has always filled up and maxed out registration so we recommend everyone register ahead of time to secure your spot. 

There will be some food and water (cold and hot) for everyone as well as bathroom access at the fields. Part of the registration fee goes towards the Patrick McCourt Scholarship at Huntington HS in honor of our late friend and founder of Huntington Ultimate. For those of you who do not know, Patrick was one of, if not the driving force behind HUSL and the Long Island ultimate scene. He passed away a couple years ago, and this tournament is a way of honoring his memory and everything he did for the Ultiamte community. We will also be accepting any donations people may want to give to the scholarship fund as well.
