A Message on Behalf of Chris Grenier

Dear G-Dub Ultimate & Huntington Ultimate Communities,

Early yesterday morning we lost a great person,  Patrick “Project” Thomas McCourt.  He was taken from us after being struck by a car while walking, and was pronounced dead on the scene.  Pat was a great friend and an important part of my life, as well as many others.  He was involved in the G-Dub Ultimate team from 2006-2010.  He also founded the Huntington Ultimate Summer League with me in 2007.  

For those who would like to come pay their respects, his family is having the wake Monday, September 19th and Tuesday September 20th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at A.L. Jacobsen’s Funeral Home at 1380 New York Avenue in Huntington Station, New York.  The funeral will be at Our Lady Queen of Martyr’s Church at 53 Prospect Road Centerport, New York 11721 at 10 am on Wednesday September 21st.  If you would like, you may send a card to the McCourt Family at 73 Cove Road Huntington, New York 11743.  Feel free to write memories you shared with Pat or how he was a part of your life.  The McCourts would love to hear how their son has been a part of so many lives and how much he was loved.

P.S. This evening at 7:30 pm, members of the Huntington Ultimate Community will be gathering at the Huntington High School Fields in Patrick’s memory.  All are welcome.  It is suggested to bring a blanket, a candle and a disc.
