Last Clinic, Last Game, Party, and Finals

Hey all, 

   I hope everyone had a great weekend, everyone in Wildwood sure did. I wanted to let everyone know what lies ahead this week, the final week of HUSL. Tomorrow will be our last clinic for the summer and we will be going over a few things before heading into scrimmaging. Then on Thursday we will be having our very last regular season game. Then on Friday there will be the HUSL end of the season party at Chris "Wiels" Wieland's house (11 Merrivale Drive, Smithtown, NY). The party will start at 6pm where there will be food and drinks. We will also be having an awards ceremony for various awards to players from the captains. 

   On Sunday we will be having our FINAL TOURNAMENT, the Summer Championships. This will be starting at 1pm on Sunday, I repeat 1pm on Sunday. Each team will play a minimum of 2 games and a maximum of 3 games. We will use the regular season standings for seeding for the tournament (1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5), then the winners advance and the losers play a consolation game. Games will be to 15 points, win by 2, 1 time out/half with 1 floater, soft cap after 1:30, hard cap after 1:45. There will be 15 min between rounds. The final game will be played to 15 points, win by 2, 1 time out/half with 1 floaters, no time cap. During time caps, there will be no timeouts. 

Tentative schedule:

Round 1: 1:00pm-2:50pm

Round 2: 3:05pm-4:55pm

Finals: 5:10pm-7:00pm-ish
