Location : Los Angeles, CA

Duration : 9 months

 

Job Description :

 

   The IT Quality Assurance Specialist will perform testing activities including the following:

·         Perform test planning activities such as writing test plan, test cases, test reports, status reports,

·         and project related activities. Participate in project team meetings to add value in the software development process.

·         Collaborate with other project team members, stakeholders, vendors, partners, or other testing related resources

 

Skills:

 

·         Experience in database testing using SQL REQUIRED

·         Experience in QNXT REQUIRED

·         Experience in Informatica

·            Solid skills using a test management system. HP Quality Center preferred

·         QA software testing experience with solid understanding of the SDLC

·         Software testing experience in healthcare industry

·         Demonstrated experience in using industry standard test tools such as Quality Center and Quick Test Pro/Unified Functional Test

·         Demonstrated problem solving skills

·         Demonstrated ability to work under pressure

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Power Point, Excel, and Visio

·         Ability to work independently with limited supervision

·         Ability to multitask among various activities and responsibilities

·         Strong organizational skills in a fast paced environment

·         Ability to keep calm and focused when testing activities may be hectic and under tight deadlines with limited resources

·         Ability to work together and collaborate with the project team

·         Attention to detail

·         Willingness to complete all the assigned tasks

·         Understanding of database technologies and ability to effectively perform functional and back-end testing

·         Understanding of web and ability to effectively perform functional testing, parallel testing, configuration testing
