Since mine and Jean-Luc's messages keep getting deleted on the other thread (not sure why), this next HuntFunc meeting we're going to be comparing solutions to a coding challenge. I was trying to ask Jean-Luc (and anyone else) if he had a preference on a particular exercise. Anyone have a suggestion? If not, I'll find something later today/early tomorrow to give everyone most of the weekend to come up with a solution. Looking forward to checking out people's solutions!

I found the post I made before.

I looked at some of the problems.

I liked the following(rated by my perception of descending difficulty):
Challenge #366 Incomplete word ladders: https://www.reddit.com/r/dailyprogrammer/comments/99yl83/20180824_challenge_366_hard_incomplete_word/
Problem 636 Restricted Factorisations: https://projecteuler.net/problem=636
Problem 637 Flexible digit sum: https://projecteuler.net/problem=637
Challenge #364 The Ducci Sequence: https://www.reddit.com/r/dailyprogrammer/comments/8sjcl0/20180620_challenge_364_intermediate_the_ducci

The Ducci Sequence seems really interesting to me! I'd love to see the solutions for recognizing a recurring pattern.

I'm good with that one. So is that the official pick?

Sounds good! I'll try to remember to post on the GitHub page and mention it on #fp on tech256 later tonight.

I just got back from a vacation which is why I was a little spotting with replying. I went ahead and made a github page.

https://github.com/LambdaScientist/Challenge-364-The-Ducci-Sequence/tree/master

I will try and knock my version out tonight. I guess just submit a pull request for the repo to submit. Everyone might want to include their name or something in the filename so it is easy to tell the files apart without looking at it. I can bring my PixelBook on Thursday and we can present using that or anyone else can have their laptop and just swap out.
