Below is the email from Dean with the bus numbers.  There are 2 numbers depending on which bus your kid is on.  For us, it is the 2nd number (other than the incorrect area code).  But the fact they have the wrong route is insane. 

in terms of the website...you are correct, Alyssa does not work there anymore and Dean's assistant Vanessa, who worked there briefly in Alyssa's place, is now the assistant teacher for Ms. Lau and therefore, as far as I know, the job (which i think is both the assistant to the principal and the person in charge of the bus routes) is not filled. No one is in that role. I  tried calling Barbara Chong about 3:30 today but got only her voicemail. 

I guess we have to speak with either Dean or Dawn.  And the bus company of course. We could ask the administration to please add something to the website indicating who to call for bus info. Hopefully they will have a person in that role soon.

School Bus Update All HCES school bus routes will now be serviced by SNT Bus Inc (NW).  The bus routes and drivers will remain the same but the dispatch phone numbers have changed.  If your child's bus is late, please contact the following dispatch.   Call (718) 828-5336 for routes: M1032, M1042, M1131, M9042, M9192, M9195 Call (719) 346-9600 for routes: M1122, M1130, M1146, M9031, M9122, M9127   Snow Storm Advisory HCES follows the NYC DOE policy for closing during inclement weather.  If NYC DOE schools are closed, HCES is closed.  If NYC DOE schools are open, HCES will be open.  School closing information is broadcast on  AM all-news radio stations such as WCBS Newsradio 880 and 1010 WINS.    Today's after school program will proceed on its regular schedule without any cancellations.   Lice Screenings Due to the impending storm, tomorrow's lice screenings are rescheduled to Monday, January 6.  An updated schedule will be sent to you tomorrow.    Kangaroo Math This year's International Math Kangaroo Competition will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014.  The competition is a 75-minute multiple choice challenge with dynamic, problem-solving activities for students in grades 1-6.  Participation in this competition is optional.  To participate, you must complete the registration form online and pay a $20.00 registration fee.  To register your child, please visit www.mathkangaroo.org.  Our school's registration deadline has been extended to January 5, 2014 at the $20.00 registration fee.  When you complete your registration online, you will receive a confirmation email from in...@mathkangaroo.org (subject "Order Confirmation").  If your child needs financial assistance for the registration, email me (subject line: Math Kangaroo Scholarship), and scholarships will be available.   HUNTER COLLEGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL | 71 East 94th Street | New York, NY 10128
