Dear President Trump,

 

I know that in the past, a letter like this one would not even get to your desk, but I also know that you are not just "any " President", you have the unique gift to solving impassible challenges.

 

 

 

In the attached text in I described the "Hydrogen Age" and outlined how we could move safely from the present "Fossil Age" into an age of inexhaustible energy and at the same time stop the expansion of China.

 

The solution to global warming is to switch to burning  hydrogen, which can be made without water without any fuel cost and does not emit carbon dioxide. Also remember that China has no hydrogen tecnology at all and therefore we have a good chance  of preparing mankind for the time when foll fuels are gone.

 

My colleagues at Yale are saying that letters like mine go directly into the waste basket, but I remind them of Szilárd's letter to President Truman which started the Manhattan project.
