Your report correctly states that the conversion to renewable energy is slowed by the need to increase electric grid capacities to handle the added load. The solution is to transport the green energy in hydrogen which can be done immediately amd if combined with hydrogen storage, can make the green electricity continuously available.
Another easily accomplished and quick method to reduce the heating load of builidings is to convert air conditioners into two-directional heat pumps.
