Dear Councillor Gord Perks and Mayor John Tory:

 

Although I live in the United States, I have been to Canada quite often, have always admired Canada and Canadians, and have close friends and relatives who live in Canada.

 

Therefore, as an American born in Budapest I read with great pleasure that the memorial sculpture and fountain marking and honoring the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 has recently been renovated.  I would like to extend my congratulations and thanks to City Councillor Perks, Mayor Tory and all involved for their interest and work.
