I just came back from a meeting at MIT with all the leaders in local
Chinese community about how to help and donate to the Sichuan
earthquake victims.

A few events are scheduled to help donations. I think Hunanese should
participate.

1) May18th 7:00PM Benefit Performance for Sichuan earthquake, John
Hancock Hall. organized by Zhu Furong and Sichuan University Alumni
Association.

2) June 22 Walk For Earthquake around Boston Common and Performance at
Boston Common. Initiated by GBCCA

3) May 17 & May18, 2:00PM--600PM Booths at Cambridge Common Park at
Harvard Square (Mass Ave & Garden St)


Some mentioned that RedCross America may have a cap of the amount of
money it will send to a specific disaster relief. Here are some other
