Who is making nonsense here?. China just had an aftershock of 6.5 degree yesterday, one died and thousands injured. Don't fool people if you like to fool yourself! What our oversea Chinese can do is donate money to help earthquake victim and their families. Anyone who thinks she/he is smarter than thousands of Chinese scientist and spreads misleading information is inhuman and criminal. Stop Nonsense!!!!!

I am not against anyone who wants to make a prediction for next earthquake. But when you wrote China telling them the work done by thousand of Chinese scienties were wong, and when you proundly told us that you were the only one correct, because "我本人就是大地震学家！！！", that is insane, especially after you proved yourself wrong. What had you been doing in last twenty years in US? Show us your reasearch papers published in the top international magazes, please, cause' we all want to read research papers written by a "大地震学家！！！".
I wish what you sent to China was a check.

胡先生，请你不要这样说。这个地震的预报有问题。我们正在检查。因为两边的原始数据有不一样的大问题，例如最重要的震级相差达到0。4，例如这个强余震，中国资料6。4，美国USGS昨天5。9，今天早上更正为6。0。这是地震学上的目前的大问题之一！以后我会小心不发表这种预报（我已经给国家地震局先发的传真）。作为科学家，我不会科学是老老实实的，不要怕错就不敢公开说出来，马后炮。这是过去很多年来地震界的毛病。不敢实现说出来。怕错。是后都说自己如何。。。我就是这样反其道。对了就好。错了就要检讨错在哪里，只有这样科学才能前进。至于你说，这样多的科学家如何如何。。。我告诉你，我本人就是大地震学家！！！我们现在一起每天工作的同学就是中国的大地震学家。这个地震之前，已经预报成功了17号的强余震等。谷继成

I have no interest discussing anything privately with you since we received all emails here as an email group. There is nothing we should hide about. I respect you as one of original organizers of Hunanese Group, but not as a "Great" something. When you keep talking how great you are while people dying in Sichuan, that tells something.
