Pastor Wang Zhiming, a disciple of the late British-Methodist
Missionary Samuel Pollard. These two and the Hmong (Miao) in China are
credited with the conversion of Latin alphabets in creating Hmong
writing script, the Pollard script:

"...Pastor Wang is recognized by the world church as one of the ten
martyrs from the 20th Century instead just by the British..." stated by
Robert Lin, presenter at First International Conference on Hmong
Studies: Impact on Hmong Globalization and Transnationalism here at the
Concordia University-Saint Paul's Center for Hmong Studies
(www.csp.edu/hmongcenter) and a researching scholar/film making artist
on Past Wang.
Robert Lin, portrayed chairman Mao Zedong in the hollywood film,
"Kundal." He's planning on researching and turning Pastor Wang into a
motion picture depicting the life and experience of Pastor Wang.
First and foremost, the (Hmong) Methodist community will be sought to
further assist on this project. Thus, HUMY serves as one of the initial
step attempting to establish contact. Thereafter the global Methodist
and the rest of the world will be sought after.
