Hello everyone,

1) I would like to remind you to present to the two
main government officials from the DOJ and DOS a small
plaque of appreciation and to all the other speakers a
framed Certificate of Appreciation with their names on
it.

2) Please send me immediately one sentence in English
and another in Vietnamese for painter Vu Hoi to write
on two silk scrolls. I'll bring with me these two
scrolls, which will be auctioned off at the dinner.

3) I would like to remind speakers and presenters in
the second discussion group to focus more on Labor
Implications, discussing the learning process that
laborers need to undergo so that they understand their
rights and the labor laws of the country they were
sent to.

The services discussed in group # 2 should not focus
on social or mental or health services. To finish up
the cycle in combating human trafficking, the theme I
am going to address for the Third Annual Conference in
Texas next summer is REINTEGRATION OF VICTIMS (IN
FAMILY AND SOCIETY) AND SERVICES TO HELP VICTIMS TO
LEAD A NORMAL LIFE (MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING, HEALTH
CARE, SOCIAL SERVICES, VOCATIONAL TRAINING, ETC.)

Therefore, I hope that the second discussion group
will not talk only of these social services but also
about the education and rights of victims with regard
to labor laws & regulations.

I just saw the program showing SERVICES for discusion
group #2 and had no idea what it would entail.
Forgive me if I am wrong, but I would like just to
remind the organizers of the themes we agreed and
voted on at the very beginning so that we do not stray
away.

I am so proud of all of you for working very hard to
make this event a success. Thanks and best to all.

JackieB
