Dear Friends

Please send this letter or in your own words on behalf of Hada. He is an indomitable advocate for the rights, culture, and true autonomy of the people of Southern Mongolia, which is under Chinese rule as a province called Inner Mongolia. He is also a scholar, author, and bookseller.

He has been relentlessly persecuted by the Chinese authorities. First imprisoned in 1995, he has been for almost all of the time since then in various forms of imprisonment, often brutal and without medical treatment for his resulting broken health. His wife and son have been under surveillance and harassed

Now ominously, Hada has disappeared.

Pease write the ambassador in your country as we don’t have email addresses for the Chinese and Inner Mongolian authorities. However, we’ve included their mailing addresses if you do want to send them a letter (just change second paragraph to “Please release him immediately, ensure his safety and restore his familys fundamental freedoms”).

Thanks! Guy & Tilly

Your Excellency
I’m deeply concerned about the fate of Hada, the Inner Mongolian dissident who hasn’t been seen since February 6. Despite completing his sentence in 2010, he has been under extrajudicial detention for refusing to renounce his beliefs. His wife and son have also suffered relentless harassment.

Now it has been reported that he has disappeared following his hospitalization by Chinese authorities. This is very worrying.

Please urge your government to release Hada immediately, ensure his safety and restore his familys fundamental freedoms.

Sincerely

Mr. Xi Jinping
