Dear Friends
Please send this letter or in your words before Wednesday about a pharmacist who was arrested for merely voicing his opinion in his shop about the ongoing Sudan conflict. If convicted he faces 6 years in prison.  Thanks! Tilly and Guy

Your Excellency
I am deeply concerned about the charges brought against pharmacist, Ahmed Abdalla Khedir Nasir, (also known as Ahmed Shifaa) for peaceably expressing his views.

As you may know, he was charged under articles 62 and 69 of the Sudanese Criminal Law at the Dongla Criminal Court in November. In actuality he was merely having a conversation in his pharmacy about his concerns over the Sudan  conflict, specifically the recruitment of civilians by the Baraa B in Malik military goup.

I urge you to immediately drop all charges against Ahmed Abdalla Khidr Nasir, as they appear to be politically motivated and infringe upon his fundamental right to freedom of expression.

Sincerely

Please send a copy to the ambassador in your country:
