Hi,

We have metagenomics and metatranscriptomics data, and we'd like to be sure the same species are used when running HUMAnN2 on the metatranscriptomics data.  What is the right way to do that? It looks like that might be supported with the --taxonomic-profile option.

Thanks,
Keith

Indeed, you can pass the DNA-level bugs list (under the temp/ output for that sample) to HUMAnN2 via --taxonomic-profile when analyzing the paired RNA sample to ensure the same set of bugs is considered.

Thanks,
Eric
