The greatest gift

It is not up to a savior to lead the world to peace. That option of
life is up to humanity.
There is in this life a time when people say enough is enough. As a
result from our violence, we can see the pain in our eyes; we can feel
the tearing of our heart. This pain is global, but our salvation isn't
up to the naysayers to peace who have lost their faith in humanity's
ability to do right or those that profit from war and violence. Our
path to salvation resides in the everyday moms and dads, sisters and
brothers throughout the world, expressed through our acts of
compassion, the give and take of love, the pursuit of truth, integrity
and peace; these simple truths and tasks are being carried by the vast
majority of humanity today.
We have perhaps the greatest gift one could ever receive -- that is the
ability to help choose and direct our destiny. This precious gift
resides in the heart of every man, woman and child, from every walk of
life, from all parts of this beautiful planet of ours. Feel it. This
tremendous responsibility is ours and ours alone. We as a people can
choose to work toward peace. We as a people can choose honesty, truth,
integrity and compassion. By our own hands, we can and will correct
the wrongs in the world and bring about our peace. This choice, now
and since the beginning of our epic journey, is ours to make.
