Before anybody replies, I know it's really called Lux Aeterna, but it
is based on a Mozart overture. The whole story of this is a mystery to
me.
If you like Lux Aeterna you should take a listen to the second
movement of Mozart's clarinet concerto. There is no controversy as to
the authorship of that, except in my own mind, since I believe that is
was composed in heaven and then channeled to Mozart. :-)) It is the
essence of beauty.
Ooh, I like that song. Or at least, I like this one passage from it that
I've heard in a YouTube video. It's very dramatic. But I didn't know it
was by Mozart. I thought it was by some guy named Clint Mansell.

That's what I'm trying to figure out, how something from Mozart came
to be a Clint Mansell piece. Some of what I'm hearing wouldn't be
possible to produce in Mozart's day. I'm getting conflicting stories
on this, whether or not it is originally from Mozart's Summer Overture
and reproduced for a movie called "Requiem for a Dream" in a piece
called "Lux Aeterna."

That's the one.
Of course, regarding my opinion - that's just me.
