The philosophic record of Republicans has generally been bad over the
years. But, rather than vote for each Independent one can find, and
lose the elections, I think that every prosperity and liberty loving
American should spend some time picking the *best* republican nominees
to vote for to become the republican candidates. With no presidential
election imminent, the area to focus on most is Congress.
As one thinks back to what common, philosophical errors Republicans
have held, there is really one central theme that most authority-
preaching, republican legislators have had--a dogmatic belief in
"God". Unfortunately, so many would-be politicians, who don't really
want to ram health care down our throats, do want to instill a "holy
spirit". This has got to be stopped. Just imagine the history of our
great country if we fight a long, inconclusive war, rebel to that with
the most socialist, democratic, American Congress ever, and then rebel
to that with the American Inquisition which regulates everything from
mandatory Sunday school to sex. It would appear that talk of "God"
does not belong in Congress.
So, what I plan to do is to devote significant time to researching the
religiosity of republican nominees in my area. If all other important
platforms differ insignificantly, and the Republicans in congressional
elections meet my final requirement, I'll vote for the ones with the
least "God" mentality.
My final requirement for Congressional elections, or course, is that
each nominee pledges to vote to impeach Obama, and if no vote is
offered, to initiate the process, oneself.
