That's what you mean by "proof"? Or did you mean 90 proof, Art?

Probably about 99.9% proof, Dave.

That's a contradiction in terms, Art -- a beVERage that's 100 proof
is 50% alcohol, so the about 99.9% alcohol mixture that you're evidently
consuming is about 199.8 proof, or what is more commonly referred to as
99.8 oVERproof! The ensuing case of DTs ought to suffice for a VERy
REVealing conVERsation with whateVER sculptural simulacra are in the
vicinity.

"Called Alcohol, in the Arab speech!"

Christus: A Mystery by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

LUCIFER.:

Both of the Old and of the New!
The [SCHOOL of HERMES] Trismegistus,
Who uttered his oracles sublime
Before the Olympiads, in the dew
Of the early dusk and dawn of time,
The reign of dateless old Hephaestus!
As northward, from its Nubian springs,
The [NILE], forEVER new and old,
Among the living and the dead,
Its mighty mystic stream has rolled;
So, starting from its fountain-head
Under the lotus-leaves of Isis,
From the dead demigods of eld,
Through long unbroken lines of kings
Its course the sacred art has held,
Unchecked, unchanged by man's devices.
This ART the Arabian Geber taught,
And in alembics, finely wrought,
Distilling herbs and flowers, discoVERED
The secret that so long had hoVERED
Upon the misty verge of TRUTH,
The Elixir of Perpetual Youth,
Called Alcohol, in the Arab speech!
Like him, this wondrous lore I teach!

<<The sets I use, in addition to the traditional, are the initiatic
rituals of the Rosicrucian school, the Kabalistic formulae of that
school and of the Count of Saint Germain (see The Kabalah of Numbers),
the Numerological system of the same source, the Cosmological System of
the Kybalion (the [SCHOOL of HERMES] Trismegistos), very slight use
of the Astrological system of the Theosophical school and its derivatives,
and the private symbols developed specifically for the new cycle, whose
dictionary I am in the midst of compiling. My writings are the only
rosetta stone for those, as far as I know. I compiled the first gloss
at the end of the first edition of "Epistle" - which touches on
the bare literary surface of that work (the first four levels.)>>

<<Who was Hermes Trismegistus? Why did he do this work
and how and when (and by whom). Was his work supposed
to be forgeries of documents created in 3rd century A.D?

Hermes: I can tell you what I know. The original teachings started in
Atlantis from Thoth. Thoth was a high priest in the Atlantian court.
When the island blew up Thoth went to Egypt where he continued his
teachings there. Many years later the work resurfaced in Greek culture
under the name of Hermes Trismegistus. There was a [SCHOOL of HERMES]
Trismegistus started there and initiates were called HERMES upon
graduation. This led to the multiple authorship of the material. There
were three incarnations of three separate beings around that time that
were probably responsible for the starting of that school. These beings
lived consecutive lifetimes, and like the father taking over the son's
business, these consecutive lifetimes were used to cement the Hermetic
teachings into the unconscious mind of humanity for good. This is where
the 'thrice great' phrase comes from: three people continuing
the great work in separate life times.>>

scholars from the [SCHOOL of HERMES] Trismegistus, Persian guys who
didn't have the Bible, didn't worship Jehovah, weren't among the chosen
people, but who looked to the sky for meaning, and found it.
At Pentecost, the word of God went out into the world.
At Epiphany, the world shows up at God's door.">>
