Dear members,

My organization (Terre des hommes - http://tdh.ch) is in the process
of modernizing its monitoring tools for its project on the field. We
are trying to identify project monitoring software to follow up on our
beneficiaries and project activities. We have operations in around 30
countries and each one of them is using it's own solutions, from MS
Excel spreadsheet or MS Access database to custom software. We would
like to start harmonizing the monitoring tools across our projects.

I though that Linked In groups would be a good place to start asking
questions. I decided to take a "Market Study" approach and designed a
short survey (in order to be able to compare data). If your
organization uses such software I'd really like to know about it and
ask you to fill in the survey. With this survey looking at knowing
what type of software you use and what could be the costs involved
(also in regard to the since of your organization).

The survey is online at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/S9WMXMH

If enough people answer the survey i'll be more then happy to share
the results back with the community.

Thanks you so much,

Guillaume Deflaux

Hi,

You may check the SIGMAH project : http://www.sigmah.org/

"  This project was launched in response to a collective request from a group of NGOs. During 2009, an their needs in terms of information management were assessed. This highlighted that they all wanted to improve these priority functionalities. The group is now composed of 10 NGOs: Action Contre la Faim, Aide Médicale Internationale, Comité d’Aide Médicale, Comité de Secours Internationaux, the French Red Cross, Médecins du Monde, Première Urgence, Islamic Relief France, Solidarités International and Triangle Génération Humanitaire. "

Kind regards,
Edouard
